My, at the time, 5 month old was waking every single hour of the night and having 20 minute cat naps throughout the day, with no routine at all. She was also co-sleeping with me and could not be put down for a sleep. It was exhausting!   • "After 3 years of my son not sleeping longer than 3 hours and still at 3 years old waking for milk in the night, I was losing all hope of better days. Luckily for me a friend mentioned she'd seen Jo at Little Rays Baby Coach highly recommended in a Mum's group on Facebook. I'll be totally honest, I wasn't convinced that anyone could help me and for years I'd been told my son who has various health issues just wouldn't sleep well because of them. After an AWFUL night where Cameron woke every hour thrwing screaming tantrums I gave in and booked a session with Jo. What can I say...why didn't I give her a call 2.5 years ago?! Cameron has never slept well, has had night terrors from a young age and the lack of sleep made him grumpy and emotional. Jo, as I asked her to...considered Cam's medical condition but treated him as any other child.   • "Where do we start. Jo has been utterly amazing and I truly can't recommend her enough. We were introduced to Jo 6 weeks after our second child was born. We were having a difficult time with colic, lots of screaming and zero sleep. Having what I now know was a perfect first child who slept and fed well as a baby this was all totally alien to us. Jo quickly helped us establish a routine whilst also assisting us with my daughter's milk-related issues. On days I felt like I was a failure of a mother and didn't know what I was doing, it was Jo who I turned to whose support and reassurance was just amazing and something I'll be thankful for forever. At 8 weeks we started Jo's sleep techniques. By week 10 my daighter was able to self-sooth and I was able to put her down at sleep and nap times, and she would go to sleep herself without fuss within minutes. By 16 weeks my daughter was concistently having 3 naps a day and was sleeping from 7 pm to 5 am without a feed, something only a few months ago we never thought would be possible. Jo is a miracle worker at that. I can't recommend Jo enough and whilst I hope we don't have any more issues with our daughter, Jo will always be the first person I will turn to for support in the future."

  • "I reached out to Jo for help with my baby's sleep when he was 5.5 months old. Before contacting Jo my baby didn't have daytoime naps longer than 10 minutes and woke up two hourly through the night for a breastfeed. But the of end of my two weeks with Jo, my baby was having 4 hours of good daytime naps and slept through the night from 6 months. We used a very gentle approach to stoppping night feeds and after three nights my baby stopped waking for feeds. I saw an increase in his apetitie in the daytime which really aided his weaning process too. As a midwife, breastfeeding was always something I dreamt of keeping up so I'm extremely grateful that Jo managed to give us a healthy roytine to ensure I continue breastfeeding but still get the sleep me and baby need."

  • "Jo has been absolutely wonderful with our 18 month old daughter. Jo was recommended to us by a friend and from the moment I heard about her, I knew we needed her help. I'd tried various techniques to help her sleep but not persisted with them as they all resulted in a screaming baby who only fell asleep because she cried so much. Our daughter hated being put in her cot to sleep whether it be for her nap or her nighttime sleep. We'd taken to putting her in her buggy for her afternoon nap as she fell straight to sleep. The only way we could put her down at nighttime was to hold her until she was almost asleep and then put her down for the night. She would often wake 3 or 4 time and could take up to 90-minutes to settle again. If she didn't settle, she came in with us. We were exhausted. Being back at work full time and totally shattered was the final nail in the coffin that pushed me to contact Jo. We had our consultation and Jo's 1:1 support for two weeks. In that time, using a combination of techniques she has gone from only falling sleep on us to sleeping consistently in her cot throughout the night and has a regular afternoon nap. I was a sleep deprived mum who had completely lost hope but Jo was always so reassuring and she\s honestly so lovely to work with!   • "I contacted Jo when Sam was 4 months old - after a difficult start, and never napping well due to silent reflux, he was finally having naps in his cot but they were too short and he was always overtired. I knew that his routine wasn't right but couldn't see how to fix it. Jo identified the issues staright away and supported me to get him into a new routine. She is abolutely lovely and so resonsive, and will give very specific advice tailored to your baby. You can read all the baby sleep books (I did) but none of them will tell you what to do to rescue the dday when your baby's been awake since 5 am and won't go back to sleep...Jo made sure that Sam wasn't overtired even when naps didn't go to plan and gave me techniques to resettle him (no crying it out). His sleep has improved so much and I feel more confident managing the days where he doesn't stick to the schedule! I would 100% recommend Jo to anyone wanting to get their baby into good sleep habits, you won't regret it."
